Health is perhaps the most neglected part of an Indian’s life.
It doesn’t get any priority. In India, money has become the most important facet of life. To buy a home, to buy clothes, to buy food. Everything needs money. So earning money wins.
IMHO, health is more important than money.
You don’t have health, you can’t enjoy money. You have health, and your earning potential increases.
Virat Kohli is a vegetarian. He has enough strength to hit the ball beyond a boundary. He has enough money to buy a house in London. It’s all about health.
India needs to wake up from the myth that the more hours they put in their work, the more productivity they get. I don’t think that is how productivity works. Productivity is a ratio of output Vs time. The less the time, the more the productivity.
India needs to make sure, like Germany, that everyone works only for 8 hours a day.
The rest of the time is for family, dharma (mental health), and gym (physical health). Posh gyms should be a part of even a slum dweller’s lifestyle.
Posh hospitals should be available for every old Indian for free. Every Indian should carry a health insurance card that covers hospitals, medicines, and gyms.
It will kickstart an economy. Least said.
Narendra Modi needs to pay more attention to such ideas from us in the USA. We are just stuck here. But we want to see our roots become stronger and stronger. Please follow https://rahulforaap.com
