The popular culture of the USA says that a few rich people use rest of the population as consumers.
These rich people attend Ivy League schools.
Let’s say Ivy League produces 10% rich and public schools produce 1% rich, it’s by design.
If we change the public school system of the USA to be graded for teachers, then we may produce 10% rich from public school system as well. That gives us total of 20% rich in the nation. From 11% rich to 20% rich, that’s almost double the GDP we are talking about.
So good education doesn’t produce bad nations. It produces nations that are well ahead of others and are worthy of ruling the world.
