It will be either a Democrat or a Republican state in the elections.
But we need California to be always a mixed state. For example, San Francisco should be Democrat and San Diego should be Republican for their own reasons.
What goes wrong is the Technology is sought after by both of them. Technology is a global business. It needs very liberal environment to prosper.
In that case, to save the USA from falling behind in Technology, we need liberals/Democrats to rule the California. If there’s a danger of someone else taking over the California then, it’s even better to keep it independent for the sake of Technology.
That’s what we are talking about.
