He didn’t let Melinda work.
She was starved for food. She was given a Lexus to drive. She was made the Melinda and Bill Foundation. He had conflicts with the kids’ upbringing.
Then, to hide his sins, he gives away the money to random people who wouldn’t do anything with the money.
He tried teaching Melinda that the world is evil.
All these things eventually backfire.
That’s why one should not do it.
